So it's been over 3 years since my last post and a lot has changed.  I won't go through the entire list but I do have to mention my 3 1/2 grandchildren (one is on the way).  What a life changing experience seeing my kids become parents and watching them raise their children.  Erin and Matt are now in New Mexico where Matt finished his CV-22 training.  Michael and Lauren have moved to a larger house which includes a separate area for Bill and Pat (Lauren's parents) who live with them.  Michael is keeping busy renovating and improving their new home.  Candice and Bruno are no longer together which was a very sad time but definitely best for both of them.  Candice now has her own Matt who she met through eharmony.   Hopefully this will go where I think it is going and there will be a marriage and more babies.  I'm still working in the business office of the nursing home and Mike is currently "retired".  I keep telling him he isn't old enough yet but as usual he isn't listening.  Only time will tell what happens next.  Hope it isn't another 3 years before I post again.  MP

Will the Scanning Ever End?

Today was a very long day for C,E and myself but very worthwhile.  We finished organizing our old family pictures so that they can be sent off for scanning.  So many of the early 80's pictures are faded already and the hope is to save them before they are lost forever.  In addition I will be scanning many precious family photos from the early 1900's of the Wise Family and Schaefer Family.  It is at times an overwhelming project but I am glad that I am getting closer to completion.

I LOVE THE THRIFT STORE

Yes I am screaming!  It was half price day today and look who followed me home.  Aren't you just green with envy?  I also got 20 unopened packs of 8 cards in the FBI Most Wanted Trading Card Series for less than $2.00 total.  There is a single card currently listed on eBay for $1.95.  Only time will tell if I got a good deal.

Winchester Fire Truck Parade

Well another Winchester Fire Truck Parade has come and gone.  The weather was great and so was the company.  Received many compliments on the truck and had an all over great time.  This year the convoy made it there and back without any mechanical difficulties.  I hope I don't jinx it for next year.

Crafty Times at Hughesville Manor

Well CBN came to spend Saturday and because I was so pitifull she agreed to spend the night.  So we did all kinds of neat things including creating FB accounts and this Blog.  She prepped her fabric for her newest quilt project and I sewed a RW&B shirt pillow.  I also made a spring wreath out of forsythia.  In addition we rehung my dining room curtains and went shopping at "The Christmas Tree Store".   A very productive time was had by all.

Day One

Today is the first day of the rest of my life as a blogger.  This may be a big mistake and only time will tell.  CBN is helping with this endeavor.  Thank Goodness!
